Africa is a priority for us, and this new office will allow us to continue building partnerships on the ground and connecting even more communities. We presently have 20 workers in Nigeria and expect that number to rise substantially as we continue to roll out connection in the region at a rapid rate. We are thrilled to be neighbors with some of Nigeria’s top enterprises, and we see this new office as a tremendous chance to realize the full potential of what Nigeria has to offer.” Avanti has already invested over $800 million in Africa and has an expanding footprint across the continent. More than one-fifth of the company’s employees work in Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.
